PowerPAK Ministry

Preschoolers birth through Kindergarten will be inspired to tap into the True Power!

PowerPAK (Preschoolers and Kindergarteners) Ministry is to help each child:

+ Associate God, Jesus, and the Bible with happy feelings.

+ To make progress in solving problems, sharing, and expressing herself or himself.

+ To know that the Bible is a special Book that tells about God and Jesus.

+ To think of church as “my church” - a safe, happy Christian environment.

+ To think of home as a place of love and security.

+ To begin thinking of others and adjusting to their interests.

These objectives and concepts are taught through the use of activity areas: art, blocks, books and pictures, home living, music, natural world (nature), and puzzles.

PowerPAK Bible Study – PowerSurge –meets every Sunday 9:30 – 10:30. Each preschooler is provided a safe and loving classroom where he is greeted by friendly and warm adults who love Jesus and children! Truths about the Bible and God are taught by Bible stories, creative songs and conversations.

Care Connection is a continuation of the PowerPAK Bible Study time. From 10:45 – 12:15, organized activities, as well as free play, (preschoolers learn by playing!) are planned while parents attend the Worship Celebration in the Worship Center. Care Connection is offered for birth – Kindergarten.

Preschoolers in the Fours Power Station and Kindergarten Power Station attend the worship portion of PowerUp in the PowerPlant. Through the use of video, power packed praise and worship, and Bible lessons they can understand, kids are taught the Power available to them in the name of Jesus. PowerPAKs then return to their Power Stations for stimulating crafts.

PowerPAK Ministry at First Baptist Church involves all Preschoolers birth – Kindergarten.

Tremendous power tools for preschoolers and their families are made available at First Baptist Church. Plus, it’s a great place for them to make friends!

PowerKID Ministry

Kids in 1^st – 5th grades will be inspired to tap into the True Power!

PowerKID Ministry exists to connect kids to Jesus, grow kids in Jesus, teach kids to serve others, and go tell others about Jesus.

We desire to partner with parents in helping them to lead kids to be transformed into fully devoted followers of Jesus.

Kids enter the PowerZone every Sunday for PowerSurge at 9:30 – 10:30 a.m. PowerSurge begins in the PowerPlant with friendly adults who love Jesus and kids. These adults – Generators - help kids plug into powerful Bible study and worship. Through the use of electrifying music, energetic games, and large and small group activities kids learn about the True Power, Jesus!
