Park at the lower entrance and use the entrance under the portico.

The church is located off of Hwy 43, accross from the Family Aquatic Center swimming pool and Allen Elementary School. The church has a green roof. For more information or if you need a ride call 524-3106.

Conversational English Class

We offer classes and tutorial help for any person in our community who wishes to improve his/her English speaking skills.We have at least 3 classes in session. Each person who enrolls is given a chance to answer questions that will help up place them in a class that will be most helpful. Child care and TeamKid for pre-school and school age children is provided.

All are welcome! Our trained teachers are members of our church or students in training from J.B.U. Each student is encouraged to ask questions and let us know their needs. We are available to assist with other needs, to make all feel at home in our community. If you enroll in a class, most of the materials are furnished and there is no tuition charge. If you wish to buy a book, we will sell it to you at a very reasonable cost. You will be encouraged to practice speaking English in class and at least once a day, as your skills improve.

English as a Second Language Ministry

If you love people and would like to be a part of reaching out to those in our community who do not know English, you can be a part of this ministry in our church. There are on going needs that require some time and commitment.

Currently our classes are on Wednesday evening between 6:30-8 p.m. We would like to begin some day classes as volunteers become available. If you would like to teach in this program, you would need some training, which we will provide. The most important qualification is love for the people you teach, and knowledge of English. You do not need to know another language! We furnish a myriad of teaching materials and supplies for you to choose from. Other opportunities for assisting in this ministry include teacher aides, child care, driving the church bus, administrative tasks (keeping records, serving refreshments, etc.) and often just one on one tutoring. Some of the students need someone to go with them to the store, the doctor's office and other places, to assist them in communicating their needs. This is an on going need that requires time on an as needed basis.
